Craigellachie is the rock at the heart of Speyside yet is anything but your typical ‘Speyside’ whisky. Considered old fashioned in 1891, when the distllery was founded; some might call the distillery stubborn or eccentric, but we believe it’s stayed true to traditions.
Craigellachie 39 Year Old Single Cask is the oldest and rarest Craigellachie bottling available to purchase. Distilled in 1980, the whisky was laid to rest in a refill Bourbon Hogshead, and in 2019 was singled out by our Malt Master Stephanie MacLeod for it's finesse and remarkable quality. After 39 years of ageing, 138 bottles remain of this exceptional whisky.
Bottled at cask strength, with no caramel colouring or chill filtration, this is a Single Malt for those who can handle big flavour.
Craigellachie 39 Year Old is exclusively available to buy at London Heathrow and via Reserve & Collect.
In 2017, Craigellachie 31 Year Old won World's Best Whisky at the World Whisky Awards.
