Sourcing fruit from Moculta in the northeastern Barossa foothills, this is a wine of intensity and finesse. An aromatic nose of blackcurrant jellies and Dutch liquorice leads in to a fine-boned palate with stony, mineral notes and long, sinewy tannins.
NOSE : An aromatic nose of mulberries, blackcurrant jellies, fine black Dutch liquorice and star anise, with ethereal stony, mineral notes and wisps of smoky meatiness.
PALATE: An exotic, fine-boned palate of great intensity, with expressive, juicy fruit and a mouthwatering ferrous, mineral quality. Tannins are at once shaley and sinewy, lingering on the palate with balanced acidity and a clean, precise finish.
